Andrea is a prolific printmaker, painter, and publisher of her own letterpress books. She has been pursuing her passion full time ever since a two-year sojourn to New Mexico twelve years ago. Images of faces in painting and etching have predominated in the artist's most recent work.  A variety of  paintings and prints of evocative objects are in the works. Andrea's work features oil paintings on canvas, etchings, relief prints and her own hand-bound letterpress books from her press, Cotton Socks Press. The latest issue from Cotton Socks Press is a very exciting portfolio of etchings, portraits of artists Andrea admires.   Andrea is a member of the Dundarave Print Workshop at Granville Island, where she enjoys the company of other printmakers. Andrea has had solo shows at Dundarave (2003, 2006, 2009) with another scheduled for October 2011. and participates in many group shows. She has exhibited in a number of international juried shows and her work is in private collections in Canada, USA, Germany, Japan, Australia, UK, Greece, and France. Andrea's letterpress books are in the special collections of University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University, University of Alberta, Vancouver Public Library and Wyly Community Art Center in Colorado.
